A Long Story condensed into 9 Stanzas

The majesty of the mountains,
The vastness of the sea.
The thick and luscious forest,
All made with care for me.

The detail in a snow flake,
The design of the body.
The variety of the animals,
So intricate it can’t be copied.

What a marvellous creation,
What a wonderful plan.
He made it all with careful thought
And then… He made a man.

He breathed in him and gave him life
He provided him with food.
He made a woman to call his friend,
But their freedom they abused.

They took the apple,
They had a bite.
From that point on
Creation wasn’t quite right.

That marvellous work got so lost,
Hidden in the sin.
Even now our lives get in the way,
From the life we’re meant to live in.

But God had a plan,
To reveal his marvellous ways.
He sent His son to show us
how we should live the rest of our days.

He lived a life of virtue,
And showed us how to act.
And then He paid the price for us,
He died… this is the fact.

Now, though we get lost sometimes,
And forget what God has done.
But we are reminded always of an amazing God,
All through the work of His Son.

A war in progress in her head,

My Whovian Story...

When did it start?? Well as much as I’d like to admit that I have been a fan of Doctor Who for, forever… I haven’t. The first glimpse I saw of Doctor Who was “The Shakespeare Code” last year. We were shown the first few minutes by one of my teachers who happened to be a Whovian. Previously a few of my friends had mentioned the show and to be honest I thought it sounded silly… I’m not a huge fan of sci-fi so I wasn’t too interested. Later in the year we were looking at sci-fi writting and context and the same English Teacher showed us “The Beast Bellow”. Since that moment I have not been able to stop watching. I have gone through and watched all the episodes from the Ninth Doctor and I can’t get enough… Though I have not yet gotten around to the old school original episodes I would still class myself as a HUGE Whovian!

Hello all you wonderful people! I have a little something (well not really little…) I’d like to share with you. - I know its a lot to read… but its worth it. I promise!

I was reading Lamentations 3:22 to about 58 last night and I really got some powerful stuff out of it. I would encourage you all to have a look at these verses, but some verses just stood out to me in particular…
vs22 - 25: “Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for His compassion’s never fail. They are new every morning, Great is your faithfulness. The Lord is my portion… Therefore I hope in Him” in vs 27-29 it says (from the Message Bible) “It’s a good thing when you’re young to stick it out through the hard times. When life is heavy and hard to take, go off by yourself. Enter the silence. Bow in prayer. Don’t ask questions: Wait for hope to appear.” vs 30 and 31 goes on to say that ‘the “worst” is never the worst’ because God wont ever walk out and fail to return.
If you keep reading through, when you get to vs 40 it says: “Lets take a good look at the way we are living and re-order our lives under God.” And vs 57 to 58 says: “You came close when I called out. You said, “It’s going to be alright.” You took my side, Master; you brought me back alive.”
You see guys, God has ALWAYS got our back. Even when things get tough, He is there to say “it’s going to be alright”. We need to examine how we are living and see if it lines up with what God wants… Centre our lives around Jesus and when we do this, Gods plan for our life will come into play. We don’t need to worry about what the devil may throw at us because the “worst” is never the worst and God will never walk out and fail to return (vs 30 - 31). When things get hard we need to stick it out, trust in God! This Scripture says to go into a quiet place and simply pray - don’t ask questions - Just wait on God.
God’s got it covered! what ever you are going through - God knows - “re-order” your lives under God, trust Him and He will guide you through the situation.

A Scientific Explanation on What the Moon is made of

Solving the mystery behind what the moon is made of.

The theory behind the moon and what it is made of is the greatest conspiracy of all time. In recent years however new developments have been released proving that the moon is in fact a giant marshmellow farm. The structure and the origin of it’s name are just some of the many pieces of evidence proving this fact. New evidence also explains why this is only now being shared with the world.

The first, clear piece of evidence proving the Moon is a marshmellow farm is it’s geological structure. When looked upon, it is clear to see the holes, or craters on the surface of the moon. These craters are evidence of the farming that is conducted. In 2010, an American potato farmer discovered that valleys, or dug out spaces were more fertile than flat planes of land. The craters reflect the growing process that George, the potato farmer, used to grow his potatoes. The crater’s on the moon allow the gelatine on the moons surface to flow into the centre, forming rivers therefore creating the perfect forming conditions for marshmellow.

Secondly, it can clearly be seen that the moon is a giant marshmellow farm by examining the origin of the word marshmellow. Going back to the origin of words in languages such as Hebrew, Greek and Latin has proven throughout time to aid humanities understanding of the past. This important process was recognised by a research team made up of NASA’s top linguists, specialising in extra-terrestial communication, who began their investigation in 1989. They compared soundwaves picked up in space to strange markings discovered in Greenland believed to have been left by Martians. It has been found that these markings have interpreted the meaning for the word Marshmellow being “space farm”. This is yet again proof that the moon is really a giant marshmellow farm.

Some people may argue that if the moon was truly a marshmellow farm humans would be aware of it. However is has been leaked from NASA that to hide the secrets of the moon, and to also help protect the Martians who have made the moon their home; UMPA, the Universal Marshmellow Protection Agency was founded. The UMPA and NASA work side by side in hiding the truth about the moon from human beings in order to avoid exploitation of the farming community on the moon. The UMPA has developed a penalty to any planets who disobey these laws, the consequences of breaking this law is to be banished to the Lost Planet for life. The Lost Planet is a harsh and life less planet for universal criminals. This is further evidence justifying the reason behind the secret.

Overall, it can plainly be seen that the moon is a giant marshmellow farm. This is proven by the obvious benefits of crater farming and the recent understanding of the word marshmellow. Although some people argue that such a major discovery would be big news on earth, NASA’s obligation to obey the laws enforced by UMPA is clear justification of its prolonged secrecy. Having gathered all this evidence it is clear to see the proof of the secret behind what the moon is made of.

Psalm 34:13
“Keep your tongue from saying evil things and your lips from speaking deceitful things.”

This scripture talks about our tongues and lips. He says that we must not speak evil things or deceitful things. How can we go around speaking unkind or negative things and still say that we are Christians and have a relationship with God. IN James 3:9 it says that “with our tongues we praise our Lord and Father. Yet with the same tongues we curse people, who were created in God’s likeness.” You see with our tongues we can either speak life or death into the lives off those around us. Positive words or negative? But not both, one or the other. James goes on in that same chapter to talk about living wisely. Living wisely includes speaking good things. You see our words have power. Jesus tells us in John 16:24 “Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.” All we have to do is ask in the Name of Jesus and are words can bring healing and miracles, in the same way our words can bring destruction, not only in our own lives, but for the lives around us. You never know what those around us are going through and that negative or criticising comment could really damage them, whether you mean it or not. In the same way that positive and uplifting comment could make someones day. So next time you are about to say something negative think twice. Speak life life not death; Because there is power in your words.
